Ground spike or cross base?
Use the standard ground spike only on suitable penetrable ground. Choose the cross base upgrade where a compatible freestanding base is appropriate for a firm, flat surface. The correct option depends on the actual surface, flag size, location and conditions.

Designing artwork for a teardrop flag
The widest part of the shape is towards the top, so place the most recognisable part of the logo where it remains clear within that area. Use short wording, strong colour contrast and sufficient spacing around important details. Check the supplied proof at a small viewing size as well as full size: if the message is difficult to read on screen when reduced, it may also be difficult to understand from a distance.
